The church concept of JC&friends@home - is in the process of fine-tuning in order to 'frame' the Christ-Life message in such a way that the atmosphere in which the message is preached is one of intimacy, fellowship, and love. What better way to share with friends and family the wonderful and liberating truths given to us through Paul the Apostle who said in 1 Cor. 11:1 "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ".
There is no warmer atmosphere than ones own home to gather together friends and family to share with them the message of the Christ-Life which is, "Christ in you (as you) the hope of Glory" Col. 1:27. The modern day church with its *hierarchy of clergy and priests and impersonal settings of large buildings, tends to separate the people into 'us' (laity) and 'them' (ministers).
JC&friends@home chooses instead to come together in small clusters with friends who in turn invite their friends, for the purpose of learning the mind of Christ and the exchange of mutual kindred fellowship. This informal atmosphere encourages unique personal expression, from the asking of questions to the sharing of personal testimonies, and allows for the free expression of the Christ-Life truths, one with another.
We believe that because Christ dwells within you as a believer, He dwells there with all of His gifts, and abilities. When you were born again, you exchanged your life for His life - Gal.2: 20. Because of this, JC&friends@home is possible, and believers anywhere can gather with their friends and family in their home, and direct a home fellowship.
Denise and I remain available to you as pastors, functioning and serving you and your family in ministry matters such as officiating weddings, burials, baby dedications, etc. A weekly offering taken at the meeting will allow us to expand the message, and assist co-workers in other countries. You will be sent a "licensed" minister's card provided by the Fellowship of World Christians, which will enable you to lead your home fellowship through an Internationally, recognized Charity.
VOLUNTRY ADDITION TO JC&friends@home
Some of you might be thinking that you would like to host a JC&friends@home but would prefer not to personally bring forth the Word at the meeting; then the DVD/VIDEO teaching of Michael Bassett will be available. The cost of £50/$60 each month will cover the production and filming expenses. You will receive four DVD's a month where a message is given, with various worship CD's. You can send the DVD's back to us, and we will use them in affiliated countries like Africa and India where we have many ministers associated with us, or if you would like to keep them, you may.
Start receiving JC&friends@home DVD'S. To enrol send £50/$60 with the completed form. When you receive the four DVD'S for the month, an envelope will be enclosed for the payment of the next month.
